Police received a call at approximately 10:22 p.m. on Thursday, June 24, where there was a report of a major crash involving an Audi A4 and Suzuki sedan in Danbury in the area of Padanaram Road and Jeanette Street.
Danbury Police said that the driver of a 2014 Audi A4 was traveling north on Padanaram Road when a 2010 Suzuki Kizashi was traveling south when they collided.
The initial investigation determined that one of the drivers crossed over the double-yellow lines into the oncoming lane of traffic, causing the crash.
Both drivers were transported to Danbury Hospital for treatment of injuries sustained in the crash, which remains under investigation by the Danbury Police Department.
